Hello and welcome to the January 2013 edition of the Villager.co.uk.

Happy New Year. This year The-Villager.co.uk will be 10 years old! Where does the time go?

I’ve made such promises before - but I am hoping to give the site a bit of a revamp - if nothing else it'll need some work to keep it running as it the 'technology' is ancient compared to what websites are doing now a days!

I'll try my best to keep the old girl going.

As ever, I rely on you the readers for content - if you want something published - send me an e-mail - whether you want to sing some praises, recall your memories, or start a debate ... get writing ... don’t waste an e-mail moaning that most of the contents are council notices ... of course they make up the majority ... they send the most stuff in ... you send something in, and I'll endeavour to publish – that way the content becomes more interesting, more people read, and maybe more people will be enthused to send stuff in …

I would particularly like to hear of people’s memories, or of local clubs, events, and charities. Come on - the Villager is here for you ... please use it!
