Robin Hood Business Park has secured further investment at the park with investment from property development and investment company Workpods Ltd.

A 4.3 acre site located near the entrance to the park has been purchased by the company to build in excess of 90,000 sq ft of office and industrial accommodation.

Construction work is due to start in Summer 2007 to build the 20,000 sq. ft 1st Phase of Workpods which will provide self contained office units from 1,400 sq. ft. upwards available on either a freehold or leasehold basis.

Robin Hood Business Park is already home to a number of occupiers including Priority Sites and Business Homes and is located in a prime location adjacent to Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield.

Matthew Fitton, Business Parks Manager at Peel Holdings said, ‘We are extremely pleased that Workpods Ltd have seen the potential of Robin Hood Business Park and chosen to invest here. I have no doubt that the small unit office product proposed will find favour with the market and wish them every success with their scheme’.

Charles Cudworth Development Director at Workpods Ltd said, ‘ We are delighted to be able to secure this strategic site adjacent to Robin Hood airport as part of our ongoing development of Workpods nationwide. As in other locations we feel our small ‘front door’ office units will compliment the other developments already underway at Robin Hood Business Park.’
