'Thirteen Army Cadets from Rossington hold the title of being the one and only drill team in the whole of Humberside and South Yorkshire. Their talent was first displayed at an annual competition last December where they wowed adults and cadets with their enthusiasm and diligence. Since then they have attended the Humberside and South Yorkshire Army Cadet Force Presentation Day where they brought it up several notches by adding two different weapons into their routine, spinning and passing them to one another which certainly kept the mayors and other guests on the edge of their seats.

The cadets would not of been able to do this to such a high standard without the help of their adult staff especially David Harrison of the Royal Logistic Corps. Now the cadets are preparing for their biggest performance yet, on their Annual camp in August in front of the county dignitaries and all the cadets and adult staff.

If you're aged 13 - 18, male or female, then come down to Rossington Detachment, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-9pm, we can be found next to the doctors on West End Lane.'
