Hello and welcome to the March 2012 edition of the Villager.co.uk.
Firstly apologies for the delay in getting the March issue published – I’ve been on a well-deserved (in my opinion) holiday with the family in Devon – hopefully I didn’t miss too many articles that were date dependant.
At present I should have no excuse getting the April issue out in a reasonable time-scale as I am between jobs for the first time since I left University back in 1994 – bit scary, but will be nice to have some time off with the family – still my spare time is already getting booked up – it’s amazing how many jobs at home there seems to be!
Main news this month is that the Olympic Torch bearers have been announced, and as expected there are a number from our region. I’m also very pleased and proud to announce to my dad, and Villager founder Geoff (Acker) Shaw has also been selected. See separate article.
If you or someone you know has been selected to carry the torch, please get in touch with your story. There are no pictures to accompany this article | Search Villager Archives for similar articles | [Top..] |
