Join us in the classroom for nature themed craft activities, go pond dipping on the reserve with a wildlife expert, or simply enjoy being out in the fresh air in beautiful surroundings. Explorer backpacks and binoculars are available to hire. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
All activities are free, but our reserve entry fee applies to our events - £4 adults, £2.00 children, and £8 family ticket.
Situated right at the heart of the Dearne Valley, Old Moor is a wonderful place to come and watch wildlife. The skies, fields and open water are teaming with wildlife throughout the year. There are lots of events, guided walks and family activities, as well as home cooked food in the cafe. The reserve is a great day out for young and old alike.
