Monday 29th October
Dungeon craft session (unsupervised)
Come and make Halloween masks and pictures in our classroom. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free event (reserve entry fee applies). 10am – 3pm.
Tuesday 30th October
Don’t let the bed bugs bite!
The Bug Lady will here with her spiny stick insects, hissing cockroaches, giant snails – and their poo! Find out more about these fascinating creatures and if you’re brave enough you can even give one a cuddle!
Free event (reserve entry fee applies). 10am – 3 pm.
Talks at 11.30am and 1.30pm
Wednesday 31st October
Spooktacular Tales
Join us to make spooky lanterns before following the Halloween trail to the storytelling tent. Settle down with a hot chocolate and snack as you listen to tales of things that go bump in the night.
£5 per child (includes drink and snack). Booking essential. Children must be accompanied by an adult (adults go free) 4.00 – 6.00 pm
Thursday 1st November
Bats, bats, bats
Get up close and personal with orphaned and injured bats and learn why they won’t be out and about this Halloween.
Free event (reserve entry fee applies). 10am – 3 pm.
Talks at 11.30am and 1.30pm
Friday 2nd November

While you’re at the reserve, why not hire an explorer backpack full of fun activities, a pond dipping kit, or binoculars, or simply visit our shop full of wildlife gifts and toys, or enjoy a meal or snack in the cafe.
Where the activities above are free, our reserve entry fee applies: adults £4, children £2, families £8, and concessions £2 – Free for RSPB Members.
