More than 350 prospective students flocked to Doncaster College's Hub campus on Wednesday 17th October for the latest successful open day.

Students came from across Doncaster to sample the College's £65m waterfront campus and talk to tutors and staff about the courses on offer at both The Hub and University Centre Doncaster.

The open day was an informal event and a great atmosphere was engendered as dance students re-created the famous flash-mob routine that took The Hub campus staff and students by storm at last month’s induction - as well as music students playing a range of instruments and singing well-known hits in the Hub’s atrium.

Alongside the entertainment, a canoe and other sports equipment was present as well as electronic babies, live animals, food tasting, an art gallery beauty treatments and hair salon.

As well as enjoying the entertainment people of all ages could find out about the exciting range of full and part time courses available at the College including Apprenticeships, Vocational Courses, Foundation Degrees, Degrees and Professional Qualifications.

The next College open day will take place on Wednesday 16th January 2013 between 3.30pm and 7.00pm. If you would like more information on the next open day or about the courses on offer please check the College's website www.don.ac.uk or ring 0800 358 7575.
