Andrew Westcott, 18, a student at Doncaster College and who studies on the Interactive Media Level 3 course, designed the badges and banner that illustrated Anti-bullying week.

The week was designed to raise awareness about student’s behaviour towards each other and what they should do if they are being bullied.

Drew, as he is known, from Wheatley, Doncaster is an ex-volunteer from the College’s Vol.successs programme.

This is a unique experience within the FE sector for young people, using the springboard of workplace experience, networking, building confidence and developing new skills as well gaining a core element of qualifications.

Drew went on from Vol.Success to the Interactive Media course.
He got involved with Antibullying week by volunteering!

He said, ‘I got involved by asking if anybody needed help I really enjoyed doing it and to work on a live brief is a good experience and useful. When I’ve finished this course I’m looking to go to University to do graphic design’
