Peter Steadman, visited the University Centre Doncaster recently to give a talk to students from the BA (Hons) Working with Children and Young People, (Top-Up) course.
Invited by John McDonald, who teaches the module ‘understanding organisations’ on the course, Peter Steadman has 20 years extensive experience working at a strategic level within the Education Sector. His experience includes headteacher and school leadership development, performance management, talent management and succession planning in addition to NVQ centre management.
Peter’s talk to students was centred on education leadership and government policy. He talked about the new education leadership qualifications for heads and deputy heads and the popularity of academies and free schools and the impact of local education authorities.
