RSPB reserves - Old Moor, Fairburn Ings and Bempton Cliffs - events:

1st February – Welly Walks for Little Legs.
Walks at 11am and 2pm. Booking essential. The event is free but the reserve entry fee applies (£4 adults, £2 children, £8 families and £2.50 concessions).
Join us for a splish splashing walk around the reserve to find clues that will reveal the identity of a very special superhero! Then it’s back to the classroom for a drink and a snack and a story all about the superhero’s adventures.
This event is aimed at parents and minders of toddlers and children in pushchairs.

11th February – Welly Crafts.
10am to 3pm. No booking necessary. The event is free but the reserve entry fee applies (£4 adults, £2 children, £8 families and £2.50 concessions).
Our activity centre will be open for self lead crafts all about wellies and rain. Come along and enjoy painting and sticking and gluing and doing and then explore the reserve to see what bugs, birds and pond life you can see, followed by a snack or a drink in our cafe.

12th February – Wellytastic Tuesday Tales.
Sessions at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm. No booking necessary. The event is free but the reserve entry fee applies (£4 adults, £2 children, £8 families and £2.50 concessions).
Our fantastic storyteller is back with tales of rain and wildlife. Suitable for all ages with songs and music.

13th February – Wild Welly Wednesday.
10am – 3pm No booking necessary. The event is free but the reserve entry fee applies (£4 adults, £2 children, £8 families and £2.50 concessions).
Bring your old wellies along to the reserve and we’ll show you how to turn them into bird feeders and flower planters. Pond dipping will be also be available if the weather allows.

14th February – Bling My Boots!
10am – 3pm No booking necessary. The event is free but the reserve entry fee applies (£4 adults, £2 children, £8 families and £2.50 concessions).
Give your wellies that little extra cheer in the cold weather. We can help you to bling them up and make you shine! If you don’t want to bling your own boots why not have a go at designing a pair for our warden?
