Get into Potteric Carr Nature Reserve for free for a day jam packed full of wonderful wildlife activities, stalls and demonstrations.
Spring is here and the festival season is just beginning… so why not come along to a FREE festival celebrating nature in Yorkshire?! Potteric Carr Nature Reserve is hosting Yorkshire’s Nature Festival on Sunday 26th May, giving everyone the chance to get into the nature reserve for free all day and with stalls, activities and demonstrations from 10am until 4pm.
You can expect all the usual Potteric favourites such as minibeasting and pond dipping, but on top of that there will be loads of other exciting things to see and do! Meet our hebridean sheep and learn about the traditional craft of wool spinning with the Hallamshire Spinners; make your own woodland medallion; get an introduction to green woodworking from the South Yorkshire Bodgers; find out where your honey comes from with members from the local Doncaster Bee Keepers Association; enjoy live music and a delicious BBQ put on by our café and so much more!
Admission is free to enter the nature reserve, and there is free car parking but we encourage the use of public transport where possible!
