Charlotte Lister Miss British Empire Finalist organised a charity fashion show in aid of Bullies Out Charity, which aims to initiate and support efforts to create a safe, healthy and learning community which recognises, respects and celebrates diversity.
The charity show was held at Manana Manana on Sunday 23rd June. The event allowed local boutiques including, Elite Bridal Wear, Celebrity Inspired Dresses, Perfect Day Promotions and Kiss Me Kate Designs to showcase their latest designs. There was also a number of exhibitors including Vintage Rose, Golden Rose Makeup, Skin Quest and Unshoesual.
The event was hosted by Danielle Badman from Skin Quest Bentley and Charlotte Lister, as well as the fashion show there was some live entertainment from local singer Sharlene Rainey .
After the show there was a raffle which a number of local businesses had kindly donated to including Toni & Guy, Kiss Me Kate, Skin Quest, Doncaster Racecourse, Golden Rose Make up, Doncaster Dogs and Cupcakes to Love.
The event raised over £160 for the charity which will be added to the other funds raised. The final total will be announced at the final of Miss British Empire North East in July.
