A former Doncaster College student is living out her dream as she releases debut album and tours the country with Band Skarlett Riot.
Chloe Drinkwater, from Scunthorpe, has been stage hopping around the UK with the hard rock band and has recently supported Red Bull Records Heaven’s Basement on a 12-date summer tour.
The 22-year old lead vocalist attended the University Centre Doncaster where she broadened her musical knowledge, her time in the town also made her more creative, becoming an inspiration when it comes to writing new material.
Chloe explains: ‘I completed the one year course in Creative Music Technology at The University Centre and learnt a great deal about myself as an artiste but also about music as a whole – diving head first into different genres.
‘I would recommend the course to any inspiring musicians out there – I really did take a lot from the course and also the lecturers too.
Skarlett Riot also made up of Danny (22), Tom (22) and Luke (18) – all from Scunthorpe released their debut album ‘Tear Me Down’ last year which is described by music experts as having catchy hooks, soaring melodies fused with grit and dirt is available now to download from all respectable sources.
You can also listen to the band’s latest single ‘What We’ve Become’
on Kerrang Radio and TV and they have also featured on the daytime playlist of BBC Radio1.
