People will get the chance to take a glimpse of the talented work of local youngsters who see life through a lens.
A host of top images from the young photographers of Doncaster Children’s University will be on show at Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery in a special exhibition.
Linda Metcalfe, Manager of the Doncaster Children’s University and the Forest School Woodland Learning Zone, said: ‘This exhibition is a great chance for people to come and see just how much young talent we have in photography in Doncaster. The theme of the Exhibition is the outdoors, mainly landscape and natural shots. All the children attending received expert help and tutoring from Matt Sparham, one of the College media technicians.’
The photographs to be displayed were all taken by school children from Bessacarr Primary School attending a Children’s University photo club and other local children attending the summer holiday club. All the shots were taken in the beautiful grounds of Doncaster University Centre’s 126-acre High Melton campus.
The exhibition will be on show from 24 August to 28 September.
From September if people want to join the Children’s University as a family they can do so by contacting the Children’s University team.
