The annual Doncaster Show took place recently and it was bigger and better than ever.
The free event, organised by Lions International followed the successful re-launch last year and attracted hundreds of local residents who were there to enjoy family fun activities and entertainment.
Doncaster College was one of the main supporters alongside Trax FM and had a full offering on, available for all show visitors to find out about more than 100 courses and all up and coming events at The Hub and University Centre Doncaster alike over the coming academic year.
Doncaster College staff put on a range of demonstrations including how to construct the perfect gateau, how to create beautiful button-holes and visitors had the chance to win a Doncaster Rovers FC signed first team shirt.
Stacey Morgan, marketing and promotions officer at Doncaster College said: ‘The Doncaster Show was yet again a great success and gave us the perfect opportunity to talk to the local community about our courses.
‘The College enrolments for September starts are still open for budding students. And we look forward to starting Induction week and welcoming our new cohort.’
