Love is in the air at Doncaster Council’s Cusworth Hall and Mansion House as both venues hold wedding fayres during the first weekend of November.

CUSWORTH HALL is a Grade I listed mansion, built in the mid-18th Century using the leading craftsmen and artists of the day. Set in its own landscaped park, Cusworth is an ideal venue for your special day with three different period celebration spaces to choose from.

The Cusworth wedding fayre is on Saturday 2 November 2013 from 11am until 3pm. For more information please call 01302 782342 or email cusworthweddings@doncaster.gov.uk

The MANSION HOUSE is one of only three remaining in the country and the finest outside London. Also constructed in the mid-18th Century, the elegant Georgian building has been a focus for civic pride ever since. The Mansion House has recently been opened up for more public events following the transfer of council meetings to the new Civic Office on Waterdale.

The Mansion House event takes place on Sunday 3 November 2013 from 11am until 4pm. For more information please call 01302 737600 or email mansionhouseevents@doncaster.gov.uk

Councillor Bob Johnson, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, said: “Cusworth Hall and the Mansion House are wonderful historic buildings steeped in our borough’s history. They are both ideal places for a wedding or reception. I would urge anyone planning a wedding to come along to our fayres and find out more about our venues.”
