Local model, blogger and promoter Charlotte Lister (26) from Bentley, Doncaster has won the title Miss British Empire Sheffield 2013.
Charlotte competed against 10 other girls for the title of Miss British Empire Sheffield 2013 on Saturday 26th October at The Copthorne Hotel in Sheffield.
The event included a sponsor, swimwear, Hollywood Glamour and a Formal Round. The top 6 Girls were then asked 2 questions each to ultimately find the winner.
Prior to the event Charlotte arranged a charity photo shoot with local business ‘Raw Exposures’ of Copley Road which helped to raise over £2,000 for The Sheffield's Children's Hospital, as well as promoting her sponsor as much as possible by wearing her sponsor sash wherever she went (literally!)
Charlotte's sponsor for Miss British Empire Sheffield was again a local business Elite Bridal & Occasion Wear based in Carcroft, Doncaster, selecting them as the ideal sponsor after a few months working closely together on a number of projects and many more planned for the future.
Elite Bridal & Occasion Wear offer a quintessential selection of unique, quirky and vintage dress designs for ‘all things bride and beautiful’ taken from 'Time Gone By'
Charlotte chose dresses from Elite Bridal Wear for both the Hollywood Glamour and Formal Round. The looks were very different as the Hollywood Glamour had a Vintage Audrey Hepburn feel to it and the Formal Dress was a stunning royal blue gown with gold detail, ideal for any glamorous event.
Charlotte is already planning more charity events with local businesses in the near future.
Charlotte will now go on to compete at Weston Super Mare on the 1st December for the UK title of Miss British Empire.
The winner of the UK title will then go on to compete in Greece for the title of Miss Tourism 2014.
