Designer Bathroom Concepts have been shortlisted for the Bathroom Product Innovation of the Year Award in the KBB Review Awards 2014 for their pioneering bath, The Etna. This marks an exceptional year for the recently established luxury online bathroom retailer, who is based near Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster.
The Etna bath itself isn’t just innovative but is quite simply ground-breaking within the bathroom industry as it unites form with function to bring a unique design that is exceptionally practical. Available to be connected to your central heating system or electrically heated, the Etna boasts style features that will heat your entire bathroom, ridding the need for a bathroom radiator, towel rail and underfloor heating. Also complete with chromo-therapy lighting and heating settings for your bath water temperature, this bath is revolutionary and has caused quite the stir within the industry.
Already featured in the Bath Boulevard by Pro Publishing at 100% Design in London, the Etna presents an eco-friendly option for all households, with its heating system and water temperature retention being both water and energy-saving. Also marketed as a health and holistic solution, the Etna boasts medical rehabilitation with its heat and water properties, helping those suffering from osteoarthritis and other muscle/joint related health problems.
Produced by Designer Bathroom Concepts, this shortlisting is an exceptional achievement, particularly for a company that only began trading earlier this year. Initially met by a few furrowed brows and scepticism, Designer Bathroom Concepts entered the market as a niche brand that offered luxury items, no simulated sales and the ‘personal approach of high-street retailers’ and has proven that this philosophy and business basis is exactly what is needed within the bathroom industry.
