Taylor Wilson, a student at Doncaster College, has won a competition to design an electronic Christmas card for the festive season.
Taylor, 18 and from Thorne near Doncaster, was one of a group of Doncaster College interactive media students who were asked to design a selection of electronic Christmas cards as part of the competition.
The winning design, chosen by Doncaster College Principal and Chief Executive George Trow, has been used, as the official College Christmas card and the winning student will receive a handy and timely £25 high street voucher.
Taylor said, ‘ I spent some time putting ideas on paper and then once I’d settled on a design I put it together on the computer. I wanted to make it humorous and appealing and I was very happy to win.’
A College spokesperson said, ‘We still believe in the time honoured tradition of sending cards at Christmas to our friends, stakeholders and partners, and it makes sense to do it in a modern and more economic way’.
