An Exhibition featuring the history of Doncaster in pictures and printed by Doncaster College photographic students is on show at the Doncaster Minster.
In conjunction with Doncaster Achives, BTEC National Diploma students have been printing glass plate negatives that were made over a hundred years ago by local photographers, Luke Bagshaw and Edgar Scrivens.
The photographs of Bagshaw and Scrivens are very significant as they provide a glimpse of the cultural, economic and industrial significance of Doncaster in contexts that may seem unfamiliar to residents now.
The Exhibition runs until February 15th 2014 in the Forman Chapel at the Minster.
