Exciting events planned during the Easter holidays with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve

Easter is a great time for wildlife and this year Yorkshire Wildlife Trust has put together an exciting program of events to keep your family busy throughout the holidays. At Potteric Carr Nature Reserve in Doncaster spring is in the air and the Trust is hoping to help you enjoy it with lots of fun and interesting events for all ages. Explore miles of nature trails, discover winged critters in the Flutter By garden and test your bird watching skills in any of the fourteen bird hides.

Education Officer Kat Woolley said:
‘There is something for everyone at Potteric, if you love bugs then we have plenty of those here, but if you like to be creative, then why not book onto one of the Trust’s ‘Get Crafty’ sessions? Whilst you are here don’t forget to drop in at the Kingfisher Tearooms for some delicious homemade food after the morning’s events! With good food and fun events, you will leave Potteric Carr feeling like you have had a really great time and learnt lots about our local wildlife.’

All events are suitable for families and young children. Each costs £3 per child for Trust members, or £5 if not a member and all accompanying adults can attend for free! Entrance to Potteric Carr Nature Reserve is included in the event price. Booking is essential for all the events so call the Trust on 01904 659570 or email to book your place.
