Hello and welcome to the June 2014 edition of the Villager.co.uk.

Hope you are geared up for a summer of sport - with the World Cup, Wimbledon, and Commonwealth games all coming up over the summer months. If you don't fancy watching sport on tv why not support one of the many local and regional teams - not to mention you can see the Tour de France here in Yorkshire at the Grande Departe in Leeds! Better still, why not take part yourself ... in local sport that is .... not Le Tour! ... and then let us know about it.

If you are a member of a local club, here at the Villager we're more than happy to help promote your successes, or help in your fund-raising or recruitment drive - just get in touch.

If sport is not your thing, there are literally hundreds of clubs, events, pastimes you can particpate in ... Doncaster, and the whole of Yorkshire itself is packed with things to do - catering for all tastes. Get involved, then get on touch.
