Creative’s lined up to visit Doncaster College’s second Arts & Crafts Festival at its town centre Hub Campus last week.
The festival was showcasing a wide range of artist’s talents in homemade materials. A number of stalls holders and artists were just starting out on the business road but there were experienced artists on hand as well. David Truman has been producing original art, attending craft fairs and exhibiting for years and made the trip across from Lincoln to show his work.
David’s detailed, pictures of cityscapes, animals, planes and trains, in colour and monochrome, were very popular with visitors.
Organiser Ann Jackson said, ‘Over the last year Doncaster College has become a hive of arts and crafts start up businesses thanks to the net315 ERDF programme. This was a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase their businesses with everything from fashion, interior and handbag design to photographers.’
